Tonite we watched a very pregnant doe drive her fawn away to make room for her new baby. My husband Steve commented that it was sad the fawn didn't know what was happening or why. He had no way of knowing what was ahead for him. Yet it was for his good and the good of coming life that it had to happen.
And so it is with life. We have no way of knowing what the reasons are for suffering or struggling. We may never know. All we can do is throw ourselves into the arms of life, do the best we can, and have faith.
I would never have guessed in a million years I would have amazing Echo, and too many blessings to count. I am so grateful.
