There is nothing as strong as gentleness. There is nothing so gentle as real strength.
It takes courage, faith and trust to be gentle sometimes. Other times it takes the same courage faith and trust to be honest and “call it as we see it.” Finding the line to be honest and direct as well as kind can be challenging. Most of my life I have been very direct. Slowly I am learning the wisdom in thoughtfully expressing my truth without imposing it on others or overstepping my bounds. At the end of the day I would choose honesty over politeness, but the grace and finesse of doing both is the goal.
